Jenny Becker
Jenny comes from a family of art teachers and artists. Her aunt painted “Woodchoppers Camp”, the huge painting that is still displayed in the Maldon Library, Victoria, after 50 years.
Jenny began her journey of oil painting under guidance by Ron Reynolds in Victoria, while she was a member of the Diamond Valley Art Society.
In 1999 she moved north, after a career in teaching, and joined the Artists Society of Canberra. Since then she has learnt from John Wilson, John Lacey, Colley Whisson and many others.
She is a versatile oil painter, and has won an ASOC prize for portraiture, but prefers paintings that capture the Australian bush and coastline, as well as its flora and fauna. view paintings
